Palo Santo trees grow in South America and it's wood is considered a holy wood, literaly translating to "holy stick," It is used in smudging and is said to be more powerful than using sage or cedar. Shamans and many healers prefer to use Palo Santo wood.
When burning this wood, it has a sweet calming smell. This reflects the energy of the wood during smudging, which is why this once unknown smudge stick is quickly gaining popularity.
Palo Santo is grounding and therefore wonderful to use while meditating.
It has many healing properties. Its traditional use is for relieving common cold & flu symptoms, stress, asthma, headaches, anxiety, depression,inflammation, emotional pain and more!
I also recommend that you use it to clean your stones and crystals.
